Take a hike!

We enjoyed the beautiful weather today by walking up Skinner Mountain in Hadley. The weather was fabulous, the foliage was beautiful and we had so much fun. Katelyn walked the entire way up, I couldn't believe it. She was so excited - for months she has been asking me if we could walk up a mountain. It's a random question coming from a 3 year old, but I always tell her "Actually, we can do that!" Today we had nothing to do and figured it was a good way to pass an afternoon. We took a million pictures, most of them courtesy of Katelyn herself! My budding photographer!

Kimberly's 1st Birthday

We celebrated Kimmy's first birthday last weekend. We had a great time, everything went awesome. Kim was completely uninterested in opening the gifts, but she is having a blast with them now. I think the highlight of the party was definitely the cake. I made the giant cupcake for her... after we sang, I placed it on her highchair, she looked at it for a second. And then she just smooshed her face into it and started eating! No hands necessary!

Eastern States Exposition 2008

We had a great day at the Big E this year. The weather was superb and the girls were on their best behavior! We ate lots of yummy food, watched horse shows, stopped by the petting zoo a few times and rode the elephant and the ponies. Katelyn really enjoyed visiting the talking cow in the Massachusetts Building. It was a perfect family day!

We went out to dinner at TGIFriday and the girls were being SO cute together!! They shared a meal of spaghetti and Katelyn had fun feeding her little sister. We got some cute shots of the meal...
